We study intensively for two years to attain the highest guiding qualification in Britain. The Blue Badge is recognised as the gold standard in the world of tourist guiding. These are region-based qualifications and I am qualified to guide in London and some sites outside for those who want a day out of the Big Smoke.

To have the honour of wearing the shiny Blue Badge, we have to pass a series of written and practical exams. We are professionally trained to look after the needs of all our clients and impart excellence in information about the past, present and future of London and life in the UK.

Only Blue Badge Guides are allowed to guide inside places such as Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.

I’m a member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding (ITG), the British Guild of Tourist Guides and the Association of Professional Tourist Guides (APTG). This means I have professional indemnity insurance. I am very proud of my Blue Badge!
